London's brewing scene is arguably more vibrant today than ever, and French & Jupps is exceptionally proud to have been a part of it, supporting brewers for over two centuries. With deep historical ties to this city, our malting operations began in 1810 on the banks of the Thames at Kew Bridge.

So, it is with great pride that we are able to announce that French & Jupps has joined the London Brewers Alliance. This esteemed organisation brings together the city’s thriving brewing industry for a wide range of events and networking opportunities, supporting both the industry as a whole and the exceptional brewers that call London home.

Founded in 2010, the London Brewers’ Alliance initially comprised a loose collective of breweries within the M25, celebrating the resurgence of brewing in the city. Their mission is straightforward yet powerful:

  • Promote brewing excellence
  • Facilitate cooperation among London brewers
  • Increase knowledge and education
  • Showcase London beer and breweries

Membership is restricted to established commercial breweries within the M25, with a few exceptions for founding members. Associate Membership is available to those brewing or planning to brew commercially within the M25, with the option to upgrade to Full Membership after six months of commercial brewing.

The Alliance boasts a diverse membership, including renowned London breweries such as Fuller’s, Beavertown, Fourpure, Brewdog’s Tower Hill and Waterloo outposts to Hackney Church Brewing, The Kernel Brewery, Pressure Drop, Signature Brew, Anspach & Hobday and many, many more. These breweries specialise in a variety of exceptional craft beers, cask beers, ales, and more, all demonstrating the strong focus on quality.

In addition to breweries, the Alliance includes a wide range of supporters, including:

Alcohol Retailers | Cellaring & Dispense Services | Cleaning & Chemicals | Equipment & Services | Financial & Legal Services | Food & Drink | Hops & Grains | Lab Services | Packaging & Delivery Services | Recruitment Services | Software Solutions | Training Services + more

These supporters offer a comprehensive array of resources for brewers, providing everything they need to maintain operational stability and serve their customers.

Join us at their events where we will be delighted to introduce our selection of specialty hand-crafted roasted crystal and patent malts to brewers and enthusiasts from other industry sectors.
