Malt, malt and more malt... the 2024 barley harvest is complete, and we're thrilled with the results! We've been working closely with our local Hertfordshire farmers throughout the seasons, and despite some early weather challenges their dedication and expertise have yielded a fantastic crop for 2024.

As the grain is now safely stored, we’ll soon begin further rigorous testing to ensure it meets our high standards for quality and moisture content. Once approved, we’ll begin the process of converting our barley into our variety of crystal malts and patent malts for brewers, including chocolate malt, roasted barley, cara malt and speciality amber and brown malt.

French & Jupps malts make up the essential ingredients in the brewing process, used by both commercial breweries and local homebrewing communities alike – in addition to the food space for speciality baked goods.

We’re grateful for the support of our local suppliers and the hard work of our team in making this year’s harvest a success.
